  If I could give negative stars I would. Were visiting from maui hawaii and i dont usually post negative post for places for I myself work at customer service industry but this need some attention. We came in and purchase cards for kids to play to enjoy our mini vacay as I was setting up my camera to take videos changing the setting on my camera (this was before we enter, we havent even went to the arcade part) their customer service aka front desk person shouted at me " maam i understand if you wanna take pictures and videos of your kids but dont take pictures and videos of other people" like duh why would I take pictures of you. my camera wasnt even recording I was trying to set up the right lighting for the place. But anyway regardless this place was advertise as a place were memories should be made and that includes taking videos and pictures for personal memories. Why would you hire someone rude like that. Totally turned off our night . We left not spending all of our time we purchased. Saw another post complaining same thing.... tsk.

  I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse customer experience. We booked for a birthday party on a Wednesday night, it was mostly empty. When we arrived and were checking in we were immediately met with attitude from the front desk girl, as if we were annoying her for showing up for a pre-booked reservations and had to get us all shoes. I could move past that everyone has bad days. When I went to get a pitcher of beer for the table I went up to the bar and again was met with ANOTHER disgruntled employee. I asked for a pitcher and he started filling it but when he was about half way through said oh and by the way its cash only. When asked where i could get cash he said to go to target. I did not have cash on me so told him I would need to go ask the group if they had cash, he said “ please do so I don’t have to waist this pitcher”. No one had mentioned previously about being cash only when we arrived or even before I ordered. The pitcher also had a dead fly in it when I got it. Next issue we faced was with it being cash only and there being limited food options a guest of ours with food allergies had brought her own food. A waitress came up to her and said she couldn’t eat it here, another member of our party went and talked to the waitress and explained the situation and she said OK that’s fine for her to eat her food. Within 10 minutes the MANAGER came up to our group in the middle of the game and said if we didn’t put the food away he was going to shut the game down and we needed to leave, which he did. We went up to him to ask for a refund so we could leave after this awful experience for a BIRTHDAY he refused to process one and when we asked for his name he refused to give it, and ultimately ended up saying his name was “bobby bones” He ended up turning our game back on after saying we were going to report him but only after that. After my last experience there a few months ago also for a birthday party where we pre- booked two lanes and had to wait over 45 minutes for someone to clean up the last party mess and was ultimately told if you want to play you can clean it yourselves, needless to say I won’t be coming back here ever again.

  Bolero - Lucky Strike Oxnard is a very nice game center. It’s just not an authentic bowling alley. The lanes a sheet linoleum that have the appearance of wood and the pins are attached to cords and don’t completely fly about in the same manner as one would expect. If you’re a serious bowler this may not be for you. If you’re just out to have some fun with family and friends, or a kids birthday party, you will probably have a good time. The bathrooms are clean, the beer is cold, and the food is better than average bowling alley food!

  Such a fun experience. We visited 2 separate times.. Did the bowling thing one day and a separate visit spent entirely in the arcade.

  Server extremely rude. Swiped our visa gift card aggressively on the machine for a beer. Told us didn’t went through, so we ended up paying using our debit card. Later found out that the gift actually went through so got charged twice for a beer.
