  It’s golftown. Same as any other really. This one wasn’t the friendliest though.

  I did a fitting with Bryce the morning of April 18th. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. He answered all my questions confidently and was extremely helpful throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fitting.

  Told me my clubs are too worn to be traded in, but I went to the location in markham and they let me do it. Recommend the markham location, they also have more products there, from Jordan golf shoes to honma.

  Today, April 14 around 3pm, i went to the golf town on Laird, I was told to go the golf town to shop for my first ser of golf. I was looking around, after 10 min, the sale person asked me if i needed help. I said yes , I need help ito choose a set that would fit me since i am new to golf. I can see that he did not care about my needs and bluntly asked me what my budget was. I said since i am new i am not looking to buy an expensive set. He then showed me the cheapest set around $700 + tax. Then he just took one club out and asked me to try to see how i like it . I was a bit surprised and said that it feels heavy. He then showed me to go around and asked someone to let me try to swing it. It was my first time to the shop, he did not even bother to walk me to show me or even help me and he just walked away. Then i went to ask another staff if i can try to test the club, he barely wanted to help me and barely showed me how to use the simulator. I was so turned off that i put the club back and walked out the store. The original sale person saw me and did not even bother to ask how was my experience with the club. He walked by me and completely ignored me. I was so upset by this experience. I will never come back to this store. The staffs are not helpful. If you are new to golf , i do not recommend you to shop at this store.

  I took my nephew, a new golfer, to golf town Laird for an iron fitting. He was looked after by Tim who cut his lunch hour short to accommodate us as we arrived early. The nephew was nervous and struggled to make good contact with the club face. Tim was very patient and even provided swing tips. At the end, Tim was able to gather enough data to make good recommendations. He ended up getting a very nice set of irons but was not pressured to purchase the higher end clubs. During this time I was helped by Shaun for some regripping. Shaun also answered questions regarding hybrids and set me up to try them on the simulator. He helped me understand proper shafts weight. I ended leaving with 2 new hybrids in the bag. Thank you for your help Shaun and Tim.
