He gave me things to think about so I know how to correct my misses when I’m by myself. Great guy and great teacher. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get better at golf.
- JKJoel KlassenAug 7, 20265.0Mike was awesome to work with. I was a grip and ripper for 50 years. After my lessons I had an injury so couldn’t golf. First round was today. The guys I golfed with made a comment that they had never seen a golfer thrilled when he kept hitting balls over the green. Pre Mike 130 yard par 3, 8 iron. Apres-Mike, pitching wedge 10 yards past the pin. 2 club iron difference and because of an easier swing not tired or sore after 18 holes. Mike was very patient and I Highly recommend.

He scheduled a swing assessment to get up to speed on what I was working on and we picked up where I left off with the last instructor. Michael does a really good job breaking down your swing into sections and showing/explaining what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it. I came into my lessons hitting a good shot 1/10 times, and now I am so much more constant, to the point where it's a lot less frustrating. I will do some golfing over the summer and definitely come back to see Michael in the fall. It's an easy recommendation for anyone else looking for a good instructor. Go to talk to Mike!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.

Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
