  This season, I have had four flat tires in the same wheel. At Trek Burlington I was told that there was no problem with the tire or rim. They said it was a coincidence and it happened like that often! Each time they charged me between $31.99 and $36.15 for tube and service. ($13.99 for the tube plus $15 or $18 service). $132 in total plus the money I spent getting home after every flat tire. My recent flat tire was near a Trek Kingston store. They found a very small wire embedded in the tire. It had allowed me to cycle three or four times with no problem but eventually the wire created a hole and the tube went completely flat, leaving me stranded many kilometres from home each time. Trek Kingston found the problem, installed a new tube and charged only $11.99 total with no installation fee. The problem was solved and fixed in 20 minutes by a friendly and knowledgeable mechanic.

  The staff are super friendly let you ride the bike before you buy it, made sure I had everything I needed and all the info for the bike, will be going back for any service

  Dishonest Business and Terrible Workmanship - Do Not Trust This Shop!I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the deceptive service and poor workmanship at your shop.On August 2nd, I brought my bike in for an inspection. I was told the inner tube needed replacement. Your staff provided a written estimate of $28 including tax. We agreed that my pick-up date would be August 4th.When I went to pick up the bike on August 4th, your shop showed its completely dishonest nature:Dishonest Pricing: Your staff first attempted to charge me $37 instead of the agreed price. Only after I produced the original $28 estimate receipt did they reluctantly change it back.Fabricated Issues & Extortion: Then, your staff claimed my outer tire was suddenly damaged and needed replacement. You tried to charge me an extra $40+ for the tire plus an $18 installation fee, bringing the total to around $80. Your deceptive behavior made me extremely angry. I completely lost trust in your service, refused the extra charge, and immediately took my bike and left.On August 5th, I took my bike to Sports Swappers, and they fixed the entire issue for only $10!The real reason for the bulge was that your mechanic was completely incompetent and installed the inner tube backward, which caused the outer tire to bulge. Your shop actually caused the damage yourself, yet tried to scam me out of $80 to fix your own amateur mistake.You charged me an $18 installation fee for a job that actually damaged my bicycle. I demand a full refund of this $18 fee immediately. I will also share this experience on every public platform to warn other cyclists to stay away from your dishonest business.
