Always a blast. My favorite ski mountain. Lots of runs and options. We'll maintained and very safe. Would be 5 stas but they are getting greedy over charging for everything. Parking is ridiculous. Food prices are ridiculous. The fact your pass discount only works before 11:30am is atrocious. They should be ashamed of their greed. This could be such an amazing place if it wasn't for over charging for everything.

Worst resort I've been to. When I went, most of the lifts were closed, although their website said otherwise. They also will say that "82% of the terrain is open", yet you can't get to the majority of it because of the lifts. For the price, it's really not that great considering the risk of weather changes and they non-laxed refund policy.

Not a fan. It's like a hockey stick: steep headwalls followed by *long* bunny runouts back to the lifts. If you're a steep-and-deeper it may suit you, especially after a famous Sierra dump. If you're like me and looking for bump fields the only place I could find them was on the backside under Shirley Lake, and they are very underwhelming compared to other spots in the west. Won't ever return.

Tahoe has become a traffic nightmare, extremely expensive and the snow mediocre at best. I-80 ranked as the 8th most dangerous interstate in US! If you like crowds, money wasting and lines, then perhaps Tahoe is the place for you. Best of luck, my friend.
Try something new elsewhere. Whether you ski or not, the beauty of Whistler B.C. is worth the visit. Alaska is amazing as well. Neither will disappoint! Tahoe pales in comparison. If you have the money, do yourself a favor and leave Tahoe in the rear view mirror.

Won’t be back again and wouldn’t recommend for a holiday trip destination. We were here for Christmas and the resort was basically paralyzed. The storm was well projected and I would assume the resort management had a plan for it. However, the roads were covered with inches of snow without getting cleaned up for a whole day. It is insane for the resort to charge $300+ for a day ticket, but with only two lifts open on a blue bird day. I can only see it from poor management.
I gave one more star only for the ski patrols and lifties for their hard work as they really tried their best to help with safety.
