- JBJared BDec 30, 20253.0I enjoyed it here for twilight. We couldn't finish all the holes but we manage to finish 7 or so. Not a hard course at all, very wide fairways. If you can't hit a driver it might be difficult. Twilight price wasn't great unfortunately. It has a tendency to be COLD since the bay is right there. Snack bar has a decent amount of beers. Everybody was friendly. I haven't tried the food. The driving range is OK. The mats are rough, there is no cushion so if you are still working on a swing and have a tendency to take divots you will have a very bad time here. My friend managed to snap his 3 wood here because he hit the mat too hard. There are targets though so that is kind of fun. But the mats are rough and your wrists won't enjoy it if you chunk it. Overall we all had fun and we would all return. What is cool is if you're lucky you will see planes taking off from Moffett!
- TLtara LNov 10, 20255.0My son is a junior golfer and he likes to practice at Moffett. Ever since the start of 2025 though, the practice greens are aerated everytime we go. We always went to Moffett because the practice facilities were great, but not anymore. Please stop aerating the greens so often.
- BLB LeeOct 20, 20254.0Course is a like a typical muni course design. Flat, not too difficult, wider fairways, but a couple of tighter driving holes where you have to fit your tee shot. Strong winds and long par 3s are the course defenses. The greens are usually really good and fast. Short game practice area is nice with good chipping/pitching green, good sand bunker, and good putting green. The practice range has decent golf balls, but the mats are rock hard. The mats really feel like a thin piece of cloth on top of concrete. They really need to replace the mats with some higher quality practice mats.
