  The staff who assisted me in finding the right driver were awesome. However, the experience was ruined at the front desk. For a $400 purchase, you’d expect some semblance of customer service. The front desk cashier was slow, lazy, monotone, and honestly looked like they didn’t want to be at work. As I went to purchase, she was unaware of what I was buying. I had to instruct them as to my purchase. The response was slow. She then went to staple my receipt. No staples. It took 2 mins to go grab staples, only to come back, put them on the cashier’s counter, and hand me my receipt unstapled. As I was exiting the building, I cordially said have a good day for no response in return. It ruined the experience. If I didn’t already have a new grip on my driver, I would’ve gone somewhere else to spend that kind of money and feel like I was treated respectfully.

  Customer service is poor. Great selection I will give you that. Highest prices in Winnipeg.......I will give you that as well. I felt like I was a nuisance to the staff. Will not return......ever.

  I wanted to write this review to express what a great experience that I had throughout the fitting process at golf town. I booked myself an appointment and was fitted by Grant. My experience is nothing short of exceptional, relaxed and comfortable which helped massively for me to be able to dial in the exact club that I ended up getting fitted for. Grant was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the equipment and great at explaining the variables that come with launch monitor data and what a new golf club should do for your game as well as highlighting the gains made over the existing club! After this experience I'll be hard-pressed to find myself going anywhere else given my fitting with Grant and the variety of equipment that golftown stocks! Many thanks Grant!!

  Went to golftown on Ellice for my first new set of golf clubs. I had always had hand me downs up to this point. I was introduce to Grant P. That guy was an absolute gem. He took so much time with me. We must have hit over 100 irons. What I loved about the fitting is Grant encouraged me not to look at club brand. He wanted me to swing clubs and feel them. I could tell him when they felt good, bad, or just a little off. Anytime I was like “I like this but” he would adjust the shaft or the head and hand it back. I ended up finding a set I absolutely fell in love with. Even when I got the clubs, I went and hit them that day. They felt a little off. I took them back to Grant. He made an adjustment to the weight in the handle and they felt perfect again. 5/5 experience. Go see Grant!
