I had a club fitting here. It was a perfectly fine club fitting, nothing special but was not bad. When I was deciding whether I wanted the club and asked how long it would take to arrive, they said 1-2 weeks. It is now been over a month since I ordered the club, and not only has it not arrived, I basically had to harass them to get any details on why it hasn’t arrived and when it will, and they said they cannot provide any because the vendor is on backorder and they haven’t received any details from the vendor. But, there has been no effort to get details from the vendor, or at least if they has been, that hasn’t been communicated to me. I’m annoyed because I feel that the timeline for arrival was potentially misconstrued in order to make the sale, as I may not have ordered the club if I knew it would take a month. I am also annoyed about the lack of customer service and updates from the team. I wouldn’t say this place is awful, but take my experience as caution.

These guys saved my golf game. I was skeptical, but ready to give it up completely, so what the heck? Jack Alderson at the WLA store is patient, knowledgeable, realistic and encouraging. He will work with whatever swing you have and make you a better, more consistent player. The technology they employ — launch monitor (with all the data you could want: spin rate, launch angle, club head speed,, approach angle, etc.), and video (front and down the line with real time measurements of all relevant body angles) — is so helpful in translating feel to what you’re actually doing in the swing. And Jack is expert in focusing lessons to take you through a process that produces your best swing. My index went from 13 to 8 in the 6-7 months I’ve been working with Jack, and I think I can get to 5 (or better) with some work on my putting. I compress the ball better and hit more greens. My misses are better. You have to put in the work: but if you’re willing, Jack will help you get there. I highly recommend Jack and all the guys at GOLFTEC WLA.

Working with Jack has been great. Improved my game and understanding of the game dramatically. Love the facility and the indoor machines. Makes it easier than going to a range. Everything is done through the app, which makes things seamless too.

Referred here by a friend. They offer a referral bonus which is cool. I felt this experience was a little pricey for what it is. $500 for 5x 30 min lessons. My instructor was jack alderson who was a golf coach, not necessarily a pro. He definitely knew his stuff but didn’t find him to be that warm or personable. While I really appreciated the technology to figure out what was wrong (as I am a visual learner), I felt that the lessons were a bit repetitive and relied on drills that I could’ve found on YouTube. They also felt short, by the time you got into the groove the lesson was over and you couldn’t stay swinging unless you upgraded to a $1000 open bay deal. All in all, it’s good to understand your swing analysis and maybe for starter golfers but if I do lessons again I rather get longer, more practical lessons with a golf pro or caddy who would rather fix your swing rather than reinvent it. GOLFTEC heavily relies on comparing you to a pro golfer and with that comes wholesale changes.
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player.
