  You get what you pay for.... Good quality clothing and backpacking gear. One glitch was finding the anti-theft sensor still attached to my pants when I got home.....

  Would give 0 stars if I could. Customer service below zero. That employee’s conduct was bad enough, but the manager’s response ensured I will not return. Today during checkout a male employee badly mispronounced and bitchered my name twice with no real care or respect. When I later spoke with a store manager, he insisted it was not done maliciously; I told him I cannot know the employee’s intent, but I do know it was disrespectful and not okay. Instead of taking the concern seriously, the manager was dismissive and unprofessional, saying my name was “difficult,” which made the experience worse.

  I want to give a shoutout to Kathy for outstanding customer service at REI Dublin. I went in close to closing time looking for hiking boots for a trip the next day. I had researched a few options beforehand, but after discussing what I needed, Kathy recommended a different pair. I decided to trust her expertise and I’m so glad I did. The boots fit perfectly and held up beautifully on a 10-mile hike in snow and ice (with spikes) the very next day. She also had me try them on with proper hiking socks and showed me a few lacing techniques to improve fit and comfort. Super knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely helpful. Thank you, Kathy!

  Ben was super helpful in finding my husband and I the right shoes. He was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He’s the type of guy any store would be lucky to have on their team. REI - y’all got a good one!!!
