  Very disappointing and concerning experience at Lucky Strike in Chula Vista on March 27, 2026 around 10:30 PM. I was part of a group of six and we had already purchased tickets to bowl. During bag check, I was denied entry because I had a small 8 oz bottle of apple juice in my purse. I explained to security and management that I am a Type 1 Diabetic with gastroparesis and that this juice is medically necessary to treat low blood sugar. Despite clearly explaining my condition and showing proof, I was told I had to either drink it immediately or throw it away and purchase something inside. Both options were unreasonable and potentially unsafe. Because of this, my entire group left, and we lost the money we had already spent on tickets. I have since emailed multiple times requesting resolution and specifically asked to keep communication in writing, but have received no response. Denying a reasonable medical accommodation raises serious concerns, including potential ADA compliance issues. I hope this location takes appropriate steps to address this matter and properly train staff so others do not experience the same situation.

  Didn't event make it past the doors and already had a very unpleasant experience. Came in with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, immediately was surprised by the security/ bag check at the doors. This is bowling alley, not a high end club? Then they wouldn't allow one of our friends in because she carried juice for her diabetes. They told her that she either had to drink it then and there or purchase apple juice inside. We were all upset they couldn't let her in because of her medical condition and expect to make money out of her for juice she needs for her blood sugar? We all decided to not even bother going in for bowling if they wouldn't even be understanding enough for a person's medical need. First time at this place and already had a gross impression. We understand No Outside food or drink, but are what about those who have specific diet needs or medication? Bullshit and absolutely disrespectful

  We just celebrated our cousin’s birthday at Lucky Strike in Chula Vista, and WOW — what an unforgettable experience! 🎉 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric — great music, vibrant lights, and such a fun, energetic vibe that instantly got all the kids excited. The party setup was seriously impressive. The way they arranged the food table made everything feel extra special — clean, organized, and honestly looked like something out of a magazine. The staff clearly put a lot of effort into making the celebration feel personalized and stress-free for everyone. The kids had an absolute blast bowling, laughing, and just enjoying every minute together. It was one of those parties where no one wanted to leave! Even the adults couldn’t help but join in on the fun. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host a birthday party or just have an amazing time with family, this is it. So much fun, great service, and an all-around awesome experience. Highly recommend!

  Never coming here again. High prices are justified as you’re paying for aesthetics. If you have your own bowling bag, do not come here. Oil is terrible and string pins. Majority of front desk staff are indifferent to you. I get it. It’s loud, lots of rude customers, and you’re elevated above customers. Needs some smiling training.
