I understand it can get busy when people are asking for sizes, but if you don’t want to do your job, then don’t work in retail. Yesterday, I went in looking for sandals and approached a woman who worked there curly hair clipped up, wearing a sweater, light-skinned. I don’t know her name, but I will never forget how she treated me. I politely asked if they had the sandals in my size. She looked me straight in the eye, backed away from me, and said “no” without even bothering to check. No effort. No professionalism. Nothing. As someone who works in retail myself, I was disgusted. That is not how you treat a customer. What made it even worse is that later that day I returned with my friend, who is a white man, and she suddenly had all the energy in the world to help him. She assisted him kindly and thoroughly. The difference in treatment was obvious and heartbreaking. It felt intentional, and I cannot ignore that. I have shopped at this store for years and supported this business, but after being treated with such disrespect and disregard, I will never return. Your actions spoke louder than words, and they said everything.

He was thoughtful and went the extra mile, being patient and kind while helping me solve an issue. And they were doing inventory the same day so it was extra busy there. Thanks Jim! And Joe, another manager, was nice on a different day. I will keep shopping there...Great service, selection and a very clean space too. ❤️
