He rapidly broke down all of my swing challenges, and, over the course of a series of lessons, he has provided targeted instruction to completely renovate my swing. I now have confidence with my swing and am optimistic that my golf game will improve. Cameron’s instruction is positive and patient. I would highly recommend an assessment and lessons for anyone who is keen on improving their enjoyment of the game.

Before coming here, I struggled with my driver, my irons, consistent ball strike and my short game, essentially everything as I just started, but Cameron has an incredible ability to break down complex mechanics into simple, actionable steps that actually make sense. I have had a few other coaches and what sets Cameron apart is the personalized approach. Instead of a "one-size-fits-all" lesson, Cameron took the time to understand my specific goals and tailored every session to help me reach them. I’ve already seen an improvement on the course, I have more confidence off the tee, and better ball striking in just a few weeks. Beyond the technical expertise, Cameron is patient, encouraging, and makes every lesson genuinely fun. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced player trying to shave strokes off your score, I cannot recommend Cameron highly enough. Truly a 5-star experience!

With a great balance between technical skill development and a more holistic view of my overall approach to improvement and play. Nate helps me get past an obsession with swing positions and other minutia, while helping me realize and focus on the things that contribute most to lowing scores and building a swing I can rely on.
- JMJeff MagnoloJul 8, 20265.0I started golfing again about 2 years ago when I retired and started my lessons with Golftec North Vancouver. I was scoring about 105 to 110 before Golftec lessons. After a number of lessons over the last two years with Matt my instructor I just broke 90 shooting 88 and 89 on two separate days in June 2026. So my handicap is now 20. Next step for me now is tightening up my short game to continue my progress and get to a 17 to 18 handicap. Matt is a great instructor and I have learned a lot from him. I have used a saying for many years. " Practice does not make perfect. Practice makes permanent." So without any lessons you are just hacking and hoping and your practice is making a poor swing permanent. Can't emphasize enough to take lessons if you want to get better.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
