  My family and I have received beyond the best service from Jeff the GM and Doug one of his employees this past April. My family gifted me a new driver for my birthday since I've gotten serious about the game. I spent lots of time in the simulator and ended up ordering a custom driver. Unfortunately a week after ordering, Taylor Made informed Golf Town that my driver would not arrive until July/August. Jeff offered me a driver at no extra cost to use until my custom driver arrived! He didn't want me to be without one for all those months. He also suggested a driver that he knew would be more forgiving and thought I may like it more. I've loved it. This past Friday, Jeff called me to let me know my custom driver had arrived. I went in today and tested it out with Doug in the simulator, and also brought in the one I've borrowed the last couple months to do a side-by-side comparison. I ended up sticking with the one Jeff had lent me. I'm really happy with this decision but really wanted to write this review to thank Jeff, Doug and the staff at Golf Town for the service they provided to me and my family. They went above and beyond! Thank you, Jeff!

  Me n my wife went into the shop n looking for polo shirt n shoes. A young gentleman Tyler E. was super helpful n polite. He assisted finding my shoe size n figured out discount issue. Without him, I guess I wouldn’t purchase anything . Tks to Tyler👍🙏

  Poor experience with employees that refuse to help. I called was told they had a product, when I arrived at the store they told me they did not have it nor could order one for me. I pleaded as I am in a bind and need some pieces to complete my set - nope not willing to help. Rude dismissive staff especially store "manager" Calvin. zero continuity between information on the phone and arriving in store. Called peak golf and albeit further away from me, they have the parts I need and if not they were willing to pull from another set to get me going. Golftown wont be getting any more of my money. The store has poor selection rude and unengaged employees that do not know anything about golf.

  I've been there twice over the years looking for something specific I've seen online. Both times the staff member that helped me couldn't find what I was looking for and tried to sell me something completely different that I said I didn't want. I left without a purchasing anything both times. I don't see a reason to go back.

  NOTE: MGI Navigator Zip carts sold at Golf town are not suited to be used in the rain or even being rinsed with a hose after use. Ive owned two MGI Navigator battery powered golf carts with remote control. Both bought at Golf Town, new out of the box. If you have a problem you deal directly with MGI Canada. The first one bought in 2022 had water ingress after one month use in the rain, as I play through rainy season on the west coast. MGI had it for 3 months and did repair. Then the axel assembly for both wheels wore out due to the soft metal used. I had to replace these at my own cost of $85 each. All in all I wasn't too hard on the product as I used it for 3 years, but choose not to replace the wheels a second time in 2025. I questioned Golf town staff at the Coquitlam store regarding water ingress problems and soft axel/wheel assembly and whether MGI had remedied the problem for the lastest product ( Sept 2025). I chose to buy another MGI Zip Navigator with remote control. Within 5 months of use during rainy season it began to make loud grinding noises. MGI sent me to a teck in North Vancouver who assessed the same problem as the last time. Water ingress. This time however they would not warranty the repair. The formal response from MGI was "carts are water resistant not water proof- driving your cart in the rain is fine, if it rainy really hard you probably want to wipe the screen off so it doesn't pool up. But otherwise, rain doesn't cause water damage" Of course you might imagine how opposite my experience has been. I did not put these carts in the water. The problems has not be remedied. The new battery would not last through 36 holes in soft winter conditions on the west coast. The repair bill was assessed to be $1004.64 Needless to say Im done with this brand. If they could remedy this problem it would be a great product. Golf courses are usually wet in some way, either in summer early morning watering or winter rain. To say this cart is ok in rain is totally opposite to my experience. To say rinsing with a hose is find after use also has not been my experience.
