Norman invited me back for another fitting to improve my experience, and this time it was great. More than just “try clubs” I received the collaboration and the information required to make an informed purchase. I left feeling way less overwhelmed with what I should be looking for. I’ve updated my rating as this location really made an effort to resolve my needs; great service in the end. ***original 3 star review*** Booked an iron fitting as I’m getting back into golf and want to buy myself a new kit. I was clear I probably wouldn’t want to buy brand new clubs but did want help understanding what shafts, club models and components worked for me. I think perhaps the fact I be wasn’t going to buy right away worked against me. The experience was underwhelming; not super helpful. For example, my swing speed is slow so I’m not clear why stiff shafts were recommended. I don’t think he even had me try regular flex. I felt the coach mostly wanted to sell me on lessons rather than help with my goal of understanding what clubs I should pursue. I’ll have to book another fitting elsewhere.

The use of video analysis and motion tracking is a game-changer. Being able to see my swing in real-time and compare it to pros helped me improve much faster than I expected. After a few lessons, I decided to invest in my own set of clubs — and I’m so glad I did it through GolfTec. I went through a full custom fitting session, and the level of detail was outstanding. They took into account everything from my swing speed and stance to my goals as a golfer. The best part? I was able to get my custom-fitted clubs at a discounted price, which made it all the more worthwhile. Now I feel more confident on the course, and I can really see the difference having properly fitted equipment makes. GolfTec has not only helped me build a solid foundation but also made me excited to keep learning and improving. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to fine-tune your game, GolfTec is 100% worth it. Not only did he help improve my game significantly he also helped me change my swing to keep my body healthy and remove back pain. I used to shoot in the mid to high 80s and after Working with Will Ni I have shot in the 70s multiple times this year. Very happy with his lessons.

My goal was to break 100 by the end of the summer and my starting round was a 139. Going to lessons once a week for 16 weeks and here were are in July having just shot a true 99, well ahead of schedule. Big shout out to Will Ni for getting me to where I am now, he built my swing up with a solid foundation and coached me effectively. Thanks Will!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
