  I’ve had a disappointing experience at the North Vancouver GOLFTEC location. On multiple occasions, scheduled practice sessions were impacted by delays and bays not being ready at the booked time. When you’re paying for structured practice, consistency and preparedness should be a given. On one occasion, when we asked an on-site coach for help locating an available bay, he responded in a raised and frustrated manner, explaining he was in the middle of a lesson that was already running late. This added to the overall sense of disorganization and lack of professionalism. We raised these concerns in hopes of a constructive resolution, but it didn’t feel like the service issues were fully acknowledged or addressed. To their credit, alternative options were offered, but the overall experience left us feeling that expectations around professionalism and time management were not met.

  I've had three 30-minute lessons with instructor Carrothers and all three started 15 minutes late. I let the first two slide, assuming scheduling issues can happen. But the third time was different—and far more disappointing—because he tried to cut my lesson short without a valid excuse and then pushed a free offer on me as if I should automatically accept it. I arrived on time and checked in at the front desk. He walked in 15 minutes late, saying he didn't think I was coming. Then, just 15 minutes into the session—right when I was finally getting into my swing—he told me he had to stop because of his next booking. I told him I wanted to continue, but instead of listening, he kept offering me a free makeup lesson like it was some generous deal I should be grateful for. I had to repeat myself multiple times before he finally agreed to finish the session. No real apology. No acknowledgment that he had just tried to cut my lesson in half without asking. Just an attitude that suggested his offer should automatically fix everything. Three late starts in a row is frustrating. What made it worse? Ignoring what I actually wanted and pushing his own solution like it's a favor. That's not how an instructor respects someone who's paying for their time and expertise. Very disappointing experience.

  Wish I had done this years ago. The lessons are great and obviously well trained instructors. Practices work well with the technology available you can actually practice your lessons.

  6 weeks into a 6 month package, and still impressed. The technology is super cool and informative. The swing camera is great for comparing to “what good golfers do” and the lessons are short and to the point. Results are instantly validated or disproven on the sim which is very motivating.

  Absolutely can’t say enough good things about my coach Don Seol. He has the patience of a saint and been so helpful in improving my confidence and my game. It’s been a pleasure working with him and the entire Golftec team in North Vancouver.
