We headed to this campground knowing from reading reviews that there might be issues with sewer and power. We booked a full hookup site and the first 2 sites we were sent to had no sewer. But the ranger was more than willing to relocate us and the third site was absolutely fine and right next to the exit gate. Nice and level and we really liked this spot.
While we did have the occasional random breaker trip, it wasn't a big deal and overall we really loved our stay here. We took the advice in the handout about how to minimize sewer problems by emptying frequently and had no sewer issues for our 3 week stay. We hear they're upgrading, too, so hopefully everything will be flawless in the near future.
Not only is it a beautiful location with awesome mountain views by the entrance, all staff members were fantastic to deal with and overall the campground just had a great vibe.
It's a bit of a trek to amenities but there's a convenient well-stocked variety store, a nice pool (we didn't get to use but we arrived in Fall), a clubhouse with recreation space and gym equipment, and a laundry room .
We'll definitely be back.

Campground mit sehr vielen Dauercampern. Kamen erst spät an, hatten aber fest reserviert. Bekamen einen defekten Campground zugewiesen, der allerdings ordentlich gelegen war. Die Waschräume waren sauber.

We visited on a day pass, having upgraded our membership recently. We were in the area and wanted to check it out.
We encountered two young men employees who were both polite and respectful.
Though winter, and most activities and buildings were closed for the season, we toured them all. Everything was very neat and clean, including the bathrooms and showers. It was obvious the management keeps up with enforcing site cleanliness - no obvious annual sites with an abundance of 'mess' throughout sites - as has been witnessed at a few other Thousand Trails campgrounds...
We were very impressed with both the campground as well as the area.
In season, there is quite an abundance of family activities to choose from!
Amusement park, water/slide park, incredible miniature golf, several beaches...
We are truly looking forward to returning!
