- DPDana PrinceOct 5, 20255.0We headed to this campground knowing from reading reviews that there might be issues with sewer and power. We booked a full hookup site and the first 2 sites we were sent to had no sewer. But the ranger was more than willing to relocate us and the third site was absolutely fine and right next to the exit gate. Nice and level and we really liked this spot. While we did have the occasional random breaker trip, it wasn't a big deal and overall we really loved our stay here. We took the advice in the handout about how to minimize sewer problems by emptying frequently and had no sewer issues for our 3 week stay. We hear they're upgrading, too, so hopefully everything will be flawless in the near future. Not only is it a beautiful location with awesome mountain views by the entrance, all staff members were fantastic to deal with and overall the campground just had a great vibe. It's a bit of a trek to amenities but there's a convenient well-stocked variety store, a nice pool (we didn't get to use but we arrived in Fall), a clubhouse with recreation space and gym equipment, and a laundry room . We'll definitely be back.

They do have a company come through once a week to empty your tanks. Friendly and helpful staff with a typical camp store. I have not been in the bath house. Cultus Lake is beautiful, shopping (Walmart) is about 30 minutes away. This campground is essentially at the base of the mountains.
