  Outstanding Service from Max at Golf Town Coquitlam I stopped by Golf Town Coquitlam looking for a new driver. I love the game, but I don’t get out nearly as much as I’d like, which means my swing is… let’s just say “a work in progress.” Max was incredible from the moment I walked in. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right fit. He narrowed down the options to three great choices, taped them up perfectly, and even booked me time at the digital driving range. Throughout the whole process, he offered thoughtful feedback, made helpful adjustments, and never once made me feel rushed or self‑conscious about my skill level. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with that much kindness and patience. If you’re looking for new clubs—or just want honest, supportive guidance—go see Max at the Coquitlam Centre Golf Town. Highly recommended.

  The manager of the Coquitlam GT, Cam B has been very helpful for me and my friends in finding the right golf clubs. Cam always communicates in a timely manner and with the best advice. I strongly recommend the staff at the Coquitlam GT for all of your golfing needs.

  Though I didn't get greeted coming into the store, and nobody was around to help me,, I found what I was looking for in the shoe department and the cashier Ethan was very polite. I mentioned how I was looking for the white colour Jordan's, and even though I said I checked and it said sold out, he checked again in other stores and online. Customer service is seen always in my books. Thanks Ethan for being friendly.

  I brought my Ping G425 driver into Golf Town because the shaft had become loose and needed to be repaired. The technician could not remove the shaft using proper club building methods and instead banged the club head on the floor a few times to loosen it rather than using the correct technique such as controlled heat and a shaft puller. He eventually got it out and gave me the club head to take home while he worked on the grip. While still at the store, I noticed a significant crack near the rear weight area that absolutely was not there before. I mentioned it to him right away. The damage is obvious enough that it would have been seen and flagged before working on the club if it had already existed since the head is essentially broken now. The club is about five years old, but still a premium driver, and to his credit he initially acknowledged that hitting it on the ground could have caused the damage and offered to send it to Ping. Ping declined because it is outside the two year warranty. What is frustrating is that when I returned, a Golf Town employee denied any responsibility, saying the damage could not have happened there. That does not align with what occurred, especially given the method used. I have been a customer for years and expected more accountability when damage happens during service.

  I've been going to various Golftown stores for years and more recently the Coquitlam location to use their practice simulator and to regrip some clubs. I wanted to express my appreciation for the exceptional service their store manager Max and his colleagues have provided both times. Since I was new to using this simulator, Max went out of his way to make sure I was fully dialed in on all facets of the machine, dotted up my clubs and emailed me the results of my shots. He also wasn't stingy with the time allowance when he realized the next hour was open. A few weeks later, his colleague was helping me get my new grips sorted but started getting a customer lineup due the popularity of the regrip event. Max jumped in, answered some rare technical questions for me and even started regriping a few clubs on the spot, saving me from having to return at a later date. He went over and above my expectations...thanks Max!
