A really fantastic rei store, the layout and design are great. The staff is very helpful and respectful, they will come up to you to help and you don't have to track someone down. They have everything well section with a wide variety in each section. The downstairs is mostly all equipment and the upstairs is all clothes. The quality of everything they have is very good and definitely the place to go if your looking for good outside clothes for exercising comfortably in the az heat.
I want to give a special mention to their outdoor dog selection, I've come to really love the ruffwear brand that I got from here.

Great place for e-bike tune up and repair. I’ve taken two different e-bikes to this REI that I did not purchase there. They are very through, explained everything and had a really fast turnaround time.

had the worst experience at REI since becoming a member 9 years ago—though it was ultimately salvaged by Stephan.
I came in to replace the bladder tube on my Osprey reservoir. In the past, I’ve always bought it in-store because staff could install it for me (my hands aren’t strong enough to do it myself). This time, an employee said he could do it but needed manager approval. When I asked to speak with the manager at the check out counter, a staff member came over and said they no longer provide this service and that she couldn’t help—even though it was her department. I later found out she wasn’t actually the store manager.
To make matters worse, the first employee sold me an item I didn’t need and gave inaccurate information about the updated Osprey mouthpiece design, which I later learned is actually an improvement.
Stephan stepped in and went out of his way to help me, and thanks to him I left with what I needed. He made the hour-plus drive worthwhile.
The cashier also failed to apply my 20% off coupon, saying she couldn’t find it in my account. She was able to redo the transaction to add the coupon.
Stephan deserves five stars. The rest of the experience was disappointing.

Huge shoutout to Bridger and the bike service department at REI Tucson! After another shop down the road (Bicycle Ranch) held onto my bike for three days without even touching the tire, I brought it here.
Bridger stepped up on short notice, got the tire changed immediately, and the price was $30 cheaper than the other guys' quote. It’s experiences like this that make an REI membership worth every penny. If you want fast, fair, and professional service, go see Bridger and the crew. Thanks again!
