My favorite course in the desert but round was ruined by pro at check in. I told him my wife wanted to ride and he got very annoyed and said we only have enough carts for golfers and she would have to wait for morning carts to come in. I had to go ahead and tee off with another golfer. She stood in the parking lot for an hour and a half while I hit balls and played several holes . 2 different course assistants told us there were plenty of carts and they apologized but said we can't say anything because he is our boss. Great day on a great course ruined by power play ego.

Pure golf course, terrible staff. Played here for a golf trip for my dad’s 50th birthday, we came all the way from Texas. The marshal and the guy at the proshop was bothering us the entire round telling us we were TWO minutes behind pace. Mind you there was no one behind us. Never in my life have I ever been bothered for being two minutes behind. After the round we went back into the proshop and they told us if it bothers us so much then this course isn’t for us. Never spending $300 to get rushed then entire round again.

Horrible experience, they rushed us every four holes. For the money, it was the worst experience I have encountered. And I have played plenty of nice course, such as Torrey Pines, Erin Hills, Sand Valley, and Pinehurst. If I am going to pay nearly $300 bucks for round of golf I expect a better experience.
I will say this, the course was great. Challenging and manicured. Which is why I gave it two stars.
Also, the t-shirt I purchased has already faded in less than six months. I spent $42.00 for what crappy t-shirt.

The warm cookies delivered to one of our holes by the staff were lovely, and the bunkers are beautiful, but the entire experience is definitely not worth the price paid for the round. Funny enough - some of the reviews say no marshals but I thought there was waaay too many marshals. They never talked to us but hidden in the trees at least 4 different holes. Absolutely no charm in the pro shop or f&b outlet here.

Beautiful course, but the pace of play was truly unacceptable on 4/3/26.
At Quintero Golf Club, our threesome (mid-handicap players) took 4 hours and 55 minutes to finish, far too long, especially given the premium price point.
We raised concerns with a ranger early and later contacted the pro shop at the ninth hole (2 hours 20 minutes through eight holes!). Despite assurances, nothing improved.
After the round, I acknowledged the excellent course conditions but shared my concerns about pace of play with the pro shop. The response was minimal and dismissive, with little indication the issue mattered.
For context, I’ve played many Scottsdale-area courses (e.g. Troon North Golf Club, TPC Scottsdale, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, AK Chin) during busy periods and have never had a nearly 5-hour round.
If pace of play matters to you, it’s worth asking before booking. I rarely leave negative reviews, which should underscore the how disappointing nature of this experience.
