- AYAnthony YubetaMar 1, 20261.0Went in today and looked at shoes for about 15 minutes with no help. The shoe people were too busy talking to each other. I tried to get their attention, but that didn't work they kept talking about whatever. Thanks REI for wasting my time.

However this review is specifically to the girl that was in the shoe dept on this day where I asked about a men’s Patagonia being in stock because when I looked online it said it was here in store so I drove here to get it in person for my anniversary gift to my partner… the interaction was fine I expressed my disappointment with a sigh and said thank you to her after she said it only shows availability if you actually go to order it for in store pick up. It’s when I walked away I heard her say to another employee “it’s not like it’s my fault we didn’t have it” first, I never expressed it was her fault I sighed of sadness and said thank you… second I heard her say something along the lines of “ she should know how to use a phone”, thank you, I do, just maybe the website shouldn’t wait until you actually order an item to show whether it’s in stock in actuality instead of saying “available for pickup”. Those were rude comments and uncalled for considering our brief interaction, and honestly I hope you change your attitude about someone asking you a question, and if you’re going to talk crap about a customer maybe just don’t do it in ear shot.
