I could have had someone else do that for free. And when he came out after the session and said he wanted to sign me up for a whole year long contract I thought here we go and sure enough he said it would be close to $4000.00 a year for them to do nothing more than compliment me. Every friend I have I told this too said the same thing!!! If I would give them $4000 they would compliment me too!! Way Way Way over priced. Alot of good golf instructors out there that are more concerned about you learning the game instead of ripping people off. I would not recommend these guys
- BNBrian NoNov 22, 20171.0I drove from Huntsville for a 11 am lesson and no one was there. Doors locked. No sign telling me they’re closed. I figured they’re just running late. So I email Russ letting him know I’m here. No response until later in the evening saying he had an emergency and I should’ve received an email from one of employees the night before. Ironically, I did receive an email the night before REMINDING of my lesson and not to be late. Ha! Don’t go to the golftec in Birmingham. They are unprofessional and bunch of time thiefs.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
