I am a senior player with a lifetime of bad golf habits, always hoping the next YouTube golf video would improve my game. That was a losing cause so I went to Golftech. At Golftech, Jack quickly identified the areas of my game requiring the most attention and provided specific coaching and drills on how to improve. The video feedback, analytical technology and access to the practise facilities was extremely helpful in the instructional and learning process. Throughout, Jack was very professional as well as personable. I would recommend Golftech to anyone wanting to improve their golf game.

- PPPipermac0742Feb 20, 20265.0I completed a year lesson/practice package in June of 2025. I was coached by Jack Sheppard. Following the lesson package, I purchased a 6 month practice package. I want to first say that I have become familiar with all of the staff led by Jordan MacLean. Each of them have demonstrated true professionalism with a strong focus on customer service. Next, I want to commend and thank Jack for his ability to convey the things I needed to address in a clear conversational way as well as competent swing demonstrations. His instruction helped me make significant improvements to my golf swing, I also want to mention that during my 6 month practice sessions, Jack would check in and ask how I was progressing. On a few occasions I expressed frustration as I had regressed on a few components of my swing, Jack immediately engaged and did mini lessons to address the things that I had failed to fully implement that he taught me during my lessons. I am very grateful to Jack, Jordan and all of the staff at GolfTec west. Top notch group. Thanks Gary McCartney

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
