Very disappointed with my experience at Golf Town regarding their current “Trade-In Days” promotion. The advertising is extremely misleading and feels designed mainly to get customers into the store rather than clearly explain the offer. When you look at the promotion, there is nothing that clearly states that only one club qualifies for the 50% trade-in bonus. I brought three clubs in expecting the bonus to apply as advertised, only to be told after arriving that only one of them counted. I was also told this had changed from last year, which makes it even more frustrating since the current promotion doesn’t clearly explain that change. Even after that, I decided to move forward and purchase new clubs anyway. However, when I got to the front counter, the clerk said he needed to check if the Ping G430 qualified for the promotion because “they are always changing the clubs.” After another five-minute wait, I was told those clubs didn’t qualify and that only the brand-new G440 drivers qualified, which had just launched. At that point I had already spent about 30 minutes in the store, only to hear two different explanations about how the promotion actually works. It was a very frustrating experience and gave the impression that Golf Town has very little regard for their customers’ time. To be clear, I wasn’t upset about the trade-in value itself. I understand they use a third-party service for that so they don’t have to stock used equipment. My issue is with the misleading promotion and inconsistent information once you’re in the store. Also to be fair, this is not a criticism of the staff. The employees I dealt with were polite and clearly just following corporate policies. The problem is with how the promotion is structured and communicated. Unfortunately, this experience made Golf Town feel like just another big box retailer focused on getting people through the door rather than providing a transparent customer experience. I would strongly encourage golfers to support their local pro shops or smaller retailers when possible. At least then your money stays in the community and you’re dealing with businesses that genuinely care about their customers. Unless you’re getting something at a blow-out price that’s too good to pass up, do yourself a favor and consider supporting local instead.

Great selection of clubs and golf gear, Jane was extremely friendly. I came here looking for a putter grip and the customer service was amazing! I don’t know a lot about golf and Jane helped me find exactly what my boyfriend was looking for.

Went in to shop for a new set of clubs. Evan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Returned the next day, armed with my list from research I had also done to narrow down my options. David helped me choose 2 from my list to test out in the simulator. He went above and beyond and offered suggestions on my stance, club position and swing to help me with my experience in selecting the best clubs for me. Next off to the shoes section, gloves and balls. 2 hours later I was decked out and David was so patient with me and my questions and selections. Would highly recommend visiting this store for your golf needs. Be sure to ask for Evan or David!

I regularly coordinate group purchases for a committee. This was my first time placing a custom order with Golf Town Store 523, and the experience was extremely disappointing due to the store manager, Jordan. After Christmas, I contacted Jordan for a quote on customized logo golf balls needed for an early February meeting. He said he would follow up, but never did. Over the next three weeks, I left messages and followed up multiple times with no response. Even after speaking with the assistant manager, Ken, and having the request passed along again, Jordan still failed to respond. The issue was only addressed after I stated I would be filing a complaint, and even then, it was Ken, not Jordan, who provided a quote the same day. Due to the delays and lack of professionalism, we were forced to take our business to another store, resulting in lost revenue for this location. This raises serious concerns about leadership, accountability, and basic customer service. This experience fell well below the standard expected of a Golf Town store manager.
