- LLLandonJan 2, 20261.0Apparently the toys at the Dunham’s in Teays Valley are look-but-don’t-look. I made the unforgivable mistake of browsing the toy section and was promptly kicked out of the store like I’d committed a felony against foam footballs. An employee with a shaggy beard and tattoos decided that instead of customer service, today’s special was instant ejection. No explanation, no warning—just vibes and a power trip. I didn’t break anything, or summon chaos. I was literally just… looking. In a store. If you enjoy being escorted out for existing near toys, this is the place for you. Otherwise, shop somewhere that understands browsing is not a crime.

We came in ready to buy an item and instead of getting help, we were told to leave by some employee with a scratchy beard and tattoos who said, “this isn’t a toy store.” First of all, that was completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. We weren’t causing any problems, just shopping like normal customers. If this is how employees talk to people who are literally about to spend money, then don’t be surprised when customers don’t come back. No respect, bad attitude, and zero customer service. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

A staff member was rude and unprofessional while we were standing in the card section and considering a purchase. He made an unnecessary comment and told us to leave for simply standing there. Completely uncalled for and not how customers should be treated. I won’t be returning or recommending this location.
