My friend and I scheduled a canoe trip/pick up a few weeks in advance and they were both ready to go to launch us off from their resort and to pick us up the next day to bring us back to our vehicle. The fishing is outstanding along the 22 mile stretch and campsites are very practical. Very nice "good ole up north WI" couple. We will be back!

Google says it’s open, we get there and guess what….it’s NOT. THIRD place today in the area that’s CLOSED PERMANENTLY that is still listed as open on a trail map or otherwise. Ridiculous. No wonder this area looks like it’s dying.
