Fox Valley Stone and Brick Co., Inc. began back in 1967 on a family farm as a business with one product to sell – landscape stone. We have now grown into one of the largest suppliers of brick, stone and fireplaces in the state of Wisconsin, stocking over 200 different types of brick and representing six of the top manufacturers of fireplaces in the country.
Fox Valley Stone and Brick started out by supplying landscape stone to a market that, up to that time, had no idea what landscape stone really was. By working hand-in-hand with local landscape contractors, we created a new market. This market leaned towards people who wanted the outside of their homes to be as distinctive as the inside.

We picked out a fireplace unit and were told our name would be held on it while we waited for a draw from our bank loan. We stayed in communication, calling regularly to update them and confirm the time frame. They even gave us a specific day we needed to pay by and we did. We paid in full on that exact day, and the money immediately held within our account. Three days later, instead of a phone call, we received a text saying they had sold our unit to someone else. After paying in full and doing everything they asked, this was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. When we tried to get answers, Phill was rude and dismissive, which only added to the frustration. The only positive part of this entire experience was Melissa. She was kind, helpful, and the one person who treated us with respect. Overall, we would not recommend this company based on how poorly the situation was handled. Communication, accountability, and customer service were seriously lacking.

Phil told me he could do a fireplace insert for less than half the price that I got from other quotes and then never responded to any emails that I sent for months. I have been going back and forth since probably March. Maybe February of 2025? It took multiple emails. Multiple contacts, multiple threats and now I've been told that they will double the price triple the price. Forget that!
