  My wife and I are in the process of relocating to Madison. My daughter and I stopped in today for the first time. I immediately knew this was going to be a fantastic visit. To all the previous reviews that emphasized their displeasure being greeted by Lily the dog, rest assured she is a sweetheart and is just very vocal at first. I understand those who have a fear of dogs, but I never felt she was aggressive in any way. The items in the store are of high quality and the owner took her time explaining the provenance of every piece that I purchased. I have no doubt that I will be spending a great deal of time at Janet’s Antiques and getting to know Jane and her lovely dog Lily and certainly making more purchases for our home. I highly recommend this store for quality antiques.

  Beautiful authentic furniture and treasures. I truly appreciate the incredibly knowledgeable owner and her description of every item. I feel fortunate to find these unique antiques in Madison.

  Quality at its best. These are true antiques. Jane, the owner can tell you the history of the treasure you are lucky to have. Prices are better than anywhere else. This is furniture that has withstood the test of time and will continue to do so as it was made from master craftsmen. There are also other items other than furniture to feast on.
