They are constantly mobile reading body language and understanding the right moment to assist. This is done without pressuring you to buy. Presenting options and not abandoning you for the next "big fish"! The selection is diverse and eclectic offering options for a wide array of interests. The hunting section with the mounts is a sportsman's dream. Checkout is smooth, plentiful and optimally staffed. The shoppers were numerous but I still felt like staff treated me like the only person there. By far my favorite store! Keep up the exemplary work!!
- NNNickNov 11, 20252.0Went into scheels to purchase a new bow and one of the associates helped me pick one out but I had to special order it. Waited 2 weeks and says my order was never processed so I called the store and they sent me to someone who deals with all of the special orders. They said it was never ordered because that brand doesn’t produce that model anymore. Not sure how I was able to pay and order a bow that’s not even made anymore. So I went to the store a few days later to find a new bow and also get my money back from the one I already ordered, but customer service said they can’t refund me or transfer that money to my new one and have to wait until Monday when the person who deals with special orders is working. So I built a different bow that same day the archery people were super knowledgeable on everything and helpful. I called back on Monday to get my money back and the lady with the special orders told me that customer service will refund me for that and they should have done it when I was at the store. Very inconvenient that I had to wait 2 weeks with no updates on the original bow I tried to order never got a call from the store and within that time period I could’ve had a different one picked out and wouldn’t have to wait over 2 weeks to get my money back into my account. Not very happy with all of that but archery helped me every step of the way to getting a new one

We spent our time looking through the knife area thus past trip. Staff was a little sparse this visit, but only because they were so busy helping others. We had to wait pur turn, patience is everything when the season is upon us.

We do all of our hunting and fishing shopping here and the knowledgeable and friendly staff is what sets Scheels apart. They will price match, so we always get the best deal. Their customer service is top notch, and they always have the most stylish clothes and shoes. Even the coffee shop is amazing! My only complaint is the aisles are soooo tight and it makes it hard to shop with a cart (need to contain my toddler). I would love if they made the store bigger - again!!
