This was the worst experience I have ever had. I purchased Sig 1911 and after the background check and wait time I went to pick it up. Even though it was new it needed to be cleaned. I was told that it would be cleaned before I picked it up. Well, it wasn't. I was told that they didn't have time that day to clean it either, but I could leave it, and they would notify me when it was ready. I said since I was leaving it would they mount the Red dot and site it in. I was told they would. I did purchase the 5 year service policy as well. I also noted that the case was missing a latch. I was told that I could call Sig and maybe they would send me a replacement. I said no, don't you have a latch in the back. I was told no and to call Sig. I said no, go back and get one off of another case, they said we can't get another case because they have a serial number on them. I said not another case just take a latch off of another Sig case and put it on mine which they finally reluctantly did and said disgustingly, now we have to call Sig. NOt my problem. After not hearing anything for a week I called the store and was on hold for at least 15 minutes. Once someone answered he checked and said it wasn't ready but to come on in because he could have it ready in 5 minutes. I said going to clean the gun, mount the red dot and sight it in in 5 minutes. He said we can't sight it in we just align the red dot with the iron sights. I said can't you bore sight it, he said we don't have the ability to bore sight pistols only rifles. I said you don't have the ability to bore sight and he said no. So, I went to the store and waited at the gun counter for almost 40 minutes before I was helped. Then the salesperson couldn't find the gun. Finally, he found it. I was going to purchase ammo but after this experience I decided I would go somewhere else. I left with the gun and was totally disgusted with this experience and the thought that I paid extra for the extended service contract that would probably be worthless based on this experience. At this point, I don't think I will ever buy anything at Sportsman's Warehouse again.

I never leave reviews for anything but felt like I needed to for this place. I bought a gun here because the price was $50 less than other shops around. I wish I had spent the extra $50 somewhere else. Purchasing the gun took far too long but picking it up took even longer. There’s no marked line so even when people are standing in line they will just call some random people up who aren’t standing in the line that’s been formed. Anyways I wanna say the guys name who finally helped me was Dan (older guy with glasses). He gets back from lunch/break and calls me up. Proceeds to dig under the counter and grab a snack and eat it in front of me while not acknowledging me even at the counter. Apologizes and said he was hungry. He then complains to the younger guy about random things afterward. He goes and grabs my pistol after that and begins the checkout process finally. In the middle of the process he decides to help somebody in line to buy ammo. He’s checking the guy out and they’re talking for close to 10 minutes. He comes back and apologizes again. Eventually the transaction ended and he said “Come see us again” lol. It took over an hour from waiting in line, which only had 2 people ahead of me, to me leaving with my pistol. Wont buy your guns here. Worst buying experience I’ve ever had.

You have got to be kidding ..having your ammo locked up now making people deal with your back first come first serve counter is ridiculous!!! Maybe get a security guy checking receipts at the door like every other store in this city. You need a "take a number" set up like DMV
period. We won't be back there ever. Your socks and clothing are priced as if this is a wealthy Colorado or Montana town too!
Going in that store angers people. Just sayin.
Tip....you should have a crock pot filled with chicken soup or something cheap to put the nice smell in the air to make it feel more comfortable..😎✌️
