- PPpjk206 pnwFeb 25, 20261.0HELP: i wanted watch to be sent in for battery replacement, but they replaced battery at Movado store: 10600 Quil Ceda Blvd Suite 365, Tulalip, WA 98271. water enter watch after washing hands at work; took it back in and it was sent out for repairs. i spent $1500+ on this watch pre 911, sometime before 2001. now it is ruined. the manager's incompetence is on full display after documenting 'due to the age of my watch' they will not warranty their failed battery replacement repair. now a second time the watch has moisture in the watch. i need to initiate a formal complaint against that store. the store manager mentioned that she would take care of me if i wanted another watch... i tried two different occasions to purchase the most expensive automatic watch in the store but was ignored and discarded as a customer both times. is the due to discrimination? did they discard a cash paying customer because of racism? i honestly cannot figure out why i was discriminated against... please, i need my watch fixed before any further damage is done because of moisture in the watch. faq: DO I GET AN ADDITIONAL WARRANTY AFTER YOU REPAIR MY WATCH? If Movado Group Inc. (MGI) performs any service on your watch (other than providing an estimate) we warranty the work for one year.
- JJJerryDec 1, 20191.0Terribly managed They locked up the fitting tools, still wanted to charge for a box for the watch that would not go on my wrist! How arrogant can you get? Not even an apology from the manager who looked like I was acting out of my station by asking her why my watch would not be fitted or come in a box. Got a great deal on a a Citizen instead, it may not look as nice, but I can run it through the dishwasher after wearing while working on my car or fishing! And in 10 years, when it is gouged and chipped, it will still work. Manipulation of customers was on the first page of Kodak's bankruptcy playbook, Sears too! I do have to thank them for saving me $300 and sending me for what will ultimately be a better watch. Thank you if you are reading this.
