First, the recent controversy involving Sydney Sweeney reflects a serious lack of judgment and accountability from the brand. Instead of listening to the concerns of the community, AE doubled down, showing zero empathy or awareness of the message they’re sending by continuing the partnership. On top of that, the quality of their clothing has gone downhill. Items feel cheap, sizing is inconsistent, and nothing lasts more than a few washes — definitely not worth the price anymore. Most frustrating of all is how little this company seems to care about its community. There's no transparency, no willingness to engage with feedback, and no real support for the values they claim to stand for. If you're looking for a brand that aligns with integrity, inclusivity, and quality — look elsewhere.
