  Goodwill Tukwila really stands out when it comes to customer service. As soon as I pulled my SUV into the donation line, the gentleman greeted me right away with a warm and friendly attitude. He even handed me a small card to fill out my donation items, which made the process feel organized and easy. What I appreciated most was the level of courtesy and respect throughout the entire interaction. After I finished, he genuinely thanked me for my donations, which made me feel valued. It’s those small gestures—greeting customers and showing appreciation—that really make a difference. In contrast, I haven’t had the same experience at the Federal Way location. There, you don’t always get a greeting or even a simple thank you. That’s why this Tukwila location continues to stand out to me, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

  First and foremost, I feel that this GW prices are very reasonable. The merchandise is clean, well organized and much of it is new with tags still attached. I continually find high end clothing pieces, up front in store, in great condition for a fraction of its original price. A very positive note is that unlike their competitor, they have large, clean dressing rooms so one doesn’t need to buy, then return as it does not work for them. Love that! The employees here are all very kind and helpful. They know their merchandise locations. You won’t find them hanging out and chit chatting with one another, other than helping each other, work wise. Since I live very close, I shop here often. Lately they have many new hires. I witnessed an employee named Logan. He is amazing! An elderly shopper had an issue with the price of an item and wanted price lowered. He handled the situation with such grace and kindness. Instead of arguing or criticism, he softly told her that in his position, he could not do that for her but said very nicely “I will go get my manager to come speak with you” He immediately walked back to get him. The manager came right out. I don’t know the outcome, but I can tell you, I have heard customers complain about a price at the “other” store and employees do not treat the customers with such respect as Logan did with this customer. Customers love being treated like their business is appreciated. The ladies rest room is always clean. You just need to ask an employee for the daily code to let yourself in. No waiting until an employee has time to walk you over to open the door. One thing I agree is very annoying. Yes, the parking situation is often awful! Especially on Mondays and senior days. It has been this way since they revised an entire parking area for merchandise drop off “drive through” This was needed parking, taken away for this awkward, often dangerous circle around drive through. Probably 10 spots…GONE!! There has to be a better way!!! What about making it way in the back where no customers are walking in and out the door or across in front of cars waiting to do this drive through to unload?? Overall, I really enjoy this store. They better never close or I’m lost!!!

  While looking at another item in the fabric section I set my cell phone down and I walked away without it when I came back it was gone And apparently a nice woman had picked it up and had taken it up to the front desk and said I found this back on one of the shelves that belongs to somebody and she was told by a clerk that they did not have lost and found. She brought the phone home to her daughter her daughter contacted my emergency numbers and we got together and I got my phone back Most grateful to that nice woman. Please get a lost and found going at your store.
