The store was fine. The bathroom has locked handicap stall, nobody was there. The other stall , you can't lock it to close. Hand soap was out or it needed a battery replacement. Air vents in bad condition, it really need a heavy duty maintenance clean.
I just wanted to buy some women shirts the fellow at the front sent me the completely the wrong direction, two other ladies gabbing said I think its that way. Come on your at a cash register. Found it on our own. We went to the register to check out with a different lady that wasn't happy to be there at least fake it. Didnt acknowledge me, didnt greet me, I waited, I waited, I waited. She said yes you can pay your bill here to the people at the register, so I waited I waited I waited. The other gentleman on the other register helped someone that came after me. Anyway, I put the items down, I will not be back. I will try Macy's instead. THANK YOU

Disappointing return experience.
I had a very unpleasant experience at the JCPenney returns counter. The associate assisting me repeatedly cut me off while I was speaking, spoke very loudly, and had an unprofessional tone throughout the interaction. I did not feel respected or listened to as a customer. I didn’t get her name but she was wearing a mask, short black lady. Returns should be a straightforward and courteous process, but this experience was the opposite. I hope management addresses customer service standards at this location.

I went to JCPenney to buy a ring for my wife and had a very unpleasant experience. The older man working in the jewelry section was rude from the start. His back was turned to me, and I said “excuse me” twice before he responded. When he finally did, he said “how can I help you sir” in a rude tone without even turning around or acknowledging me properly, like I was bothering him.
I immediately asked someone else to help me because I’m not going to spend my money with someone who treats customers that way. I then tried to explain the situation to who I believed was a manager, but she kept talking over me and didn’t really address my concern at all.
Overall, very disappointing customer service. I won’t be returning.
