  The staff are very friendly and nice. However, if you buy a suit here, do not use the in house tailoring. After three iterations of my suit not fitting correctly, I ended up having to just cut my losses and take the suit to a local independent tailor. The Nordstrom tailor blamed my body shape for the repeated errors (and I have very standard measurements).

  I was shopping this last friday and i wasnt sure what i wanted, and Aiko was so helpful and friendly, i found exactly what i wanted! Five stars.

  This review is only for the man working at fragrance in the all blue dress pants and button up. My partner and I went into fragrance to check out the new Parfum De Marley Athenais EDP since I have a collection of the others. Parfum de Marly is expensive and they do not keep testers out, you have to ask them to pull them out to smell. He was with a woman the whole time and did not acknowledge us. We took a smell of other perfumes in the meantime, but waited for about 15 minutes and this man did not make any effort to assist us or acknowledge us. I’ve been here other times where it was busier and was at least acknowledged with a greeting or a smile. Please work better on initial engagement with your customers.

  Nordstrom couldn’t deliver on their promise. I have been a long time customer at my local Tacoma Nordstrom (25yrs+) and this last week was the second time in the last 12 months that Nordstrom hasn’t come through. I went in for a suit fitting for a couple of upcoming weddings and was assured alterations would be made days before my international trip. (Have receipt stating that alterations would be completed day before my trip). Showed up day of my international trip (a day after alterations were supposed to be complete), to find out that alterations hadn’t even been started on one of the suits and one of the shirts. While the store manager apologized and refunded the cost of the suit and alterations, it was extremely disappointing that Nordstrom did not deliver on their promise. This is not supposed to happen at Nordstrom.
