  Bought Jo Malone intense perfume last month. Instead of receiving 2 bottles of jo malone freebies, they gave me a crap of freebies that is not associated with the perfume that i bought and they insisted that i have that instead. They have destroyed the reputation of the brand and the store by not being honest reps. Sad

  I am a long-time Nordstrom shopper and primarily shop there. A sales associate told me I could return a shirt that ripped due to a quality issue and invited me to find an exchange. About 15 minutes later, she was no longer there. Another associate—possibly a lead—was extremely disrespectful and refused the return due to no receipt, despite the prior approval. The interaction was unprofessional and has made me reconsider shopping at Nordstrom.

  Awkward customer service from the online pick up section. Teach your employees how to greet people and not just stand around talking to each other.

  I’ve visited Nordstrom at Tacoma Mall several times and genuinely enjoy shopping here. However, I did expect a more elevated brand selection. Compared to Nordstrom locations in Boston or Los Angeles, which carry labels such as Diesel, Citizens of Humanity, 7 For All Mankind, and a broader range of designers like Michael Kors, the assortment here feels more limited. I do wish this location offered more high-end and premium brands to match the overall Nordstrom experience.

  If there is a basic rule of shopping life: If it's Norstrom's it SHOULD be five stars. Unfortunately, it just isn't anymore. And I'm not sure it can be again. Nordstrom's service is what makes a 400.00 sweater seem worthwhile. Service is what makes perusing men's wear for 2 - 3 hours seem like a day out instead of a lost afternoon. Great service is what I got this week in the perfume department (and have always gotten) and why I didn't feel like I dropped an inordinate sum on my wife's Christmas present. But, in 3 other departments I got, at best, Sears service. And we know where Sears is now. Lukewarm or no greeting. No offer of help. Wife went to get a bra - no fitters, no offer of help, no nothing. Lingerie used to be a specialty of high-end department stores. Now it seems to be the "underware barn". Ick - you could do this on-line. The perspective seems to have shifted and maybe irreversible. Can you tell your staff that they have to be friendly? That they have to offer help? That they have to smile? Probably not - it's probably a violation of something nowadays. But you could remind your floor manager not to explain that, while your Bistro has a "order at the cash-register" and seat yourself system, other Nordstrom's do have sit-down table service in their Bistros, because, "they're more High-end stores". I thought EVERY Nordstrom's was a high-end store! You hate to see it.
