  Misinformation about return policy When I made my purchase on January 4th, 2026 the cashier told me to “hang onto the tags incase you need to return anything”. When I attempted to return 2 pairs of jeans on 1/19/2026 they rejected my return, stating that “tags must still be attached to be eligible for a return”. When I informed the store manager of the information I was given about returns at the time of my purchase she said she’d “speak to the team about being more clear” and then offered to give me a 1-800 number for customer service. I did call customer service; they reiterated the return policy and told me there isn’t anything they will do. I understand the return policy, but I feel an exception should be made when the cashier provides incorrect information. Anecdotally, in my experience it’s bad business to lose a customer over $90 worth of jeans. I’ll never make a purchase from AEO again.

  I was in store shopping. Store was almost empty of customers. I was shopping on the back wall for my daughter when the manager literally comes up right on my shoulder trying to fix the clothes right where I was shopping.. like we are almost touching she was so close. So I take a step back from the wall so she can continue to fix the area since it was so important to fix where I was at. Then she says “is there something you needed?” As if I was in her way… I was literally shopping the area. I guess since I had other shopping bags she may have thought that I was stealing and on top of that, I’m black. There was plenty of other areas to fix but she felt it necessary to be right under me, literally. She said she was getting the extra hangers.. yea, ok. Made my experience terrible and ruined my day. I was shopping for my daughter for Christmas bc she loves baggy jeans. I did buy one pair but intended on buying more. I was only in the store for 2 mins.

  Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Everyone we spoke to from walking in, to assisting with an exchange and the fitting room was kind and very helpful. I will be shopping at this location again.

  We had an excellent experience at AE today 10/18/2025. Both staff members we worked with were incredibly helpful! Although I did not catch the name of the first associate, Ms. Katrina was absolutely fantastic. She delivered outstanding service, expertly guiding my daughter to the perfect pair of jeans. Despite the store being super busy, her patiences and exceptional service made our shopping experience wonderful.
