- SCSam CarriganMay 8, 20211.0I purchased a new pair of ray ban sunglasses from them yesterday at this location and did not happen to notice a small crack in the lens. I’ve owned them for less than 24 hours and after contacting an employee at their store I was told to bring in a receipt and the glasses to help me out. After a visit to 2 different locations where I was told I could have them exchanged I was then told upon arrival the best they could do for me was replace them for a 50% discount after confirming on the phone with them that they would replace them. They said someone would have noticed the crack before selling them to me. I understand the principle of not replacing used merchandise but i could hardly notice the crack myself so a reasonable person would believe an employee could miss it too. There wasn’t a manager available to speak with, i Wasted of a half a day, and still have broken sunglasses. Just buy straight from the manufacturer. I posted the picture of the crack for reference, hardly noticeable unless looking closely from the back of the lens. I would greatly appreciate it if a manager would reach out for more clarification as this is pretty upsetting.
