Sportsman’s Warehouse feels like it’s one flickering lightbulb away from a Going Out of Business sign. Inventory is sparse, prices are high, and the staff, though polite, seem inexperienced and not much help. They can’t even print licenses, which is kind of the whole point for many shoppers. Meanwhile, Sportco has better selection, better staff, and prices that can be nearly 50% lower. Hard to justify stopping here when the competition is running circles around them

I wanted to know more information on trail cams. I asked a few different employees to explain the difference in trail cam brands etc and I was told nobody in the store knows anything regarding them. The cost would have been 299 for 2 cameras. Not paying that much with no help on how they work

Products and prices are what they are but this store is severely understaffed. This causes a poor customer service experience. This is particularly apparent at the firearms counter. The understaffing is so bad that making an appointment is irrelevant.

The average wait time for anything firearms related is 56 minutes, and another 50+ minutes to get whatever you need completed. They blame it on "Washington requirements", but it's simply because their staff is egregiously slow and incompetent at their job. If you go, plan to arrive at least 2 hours in advance to get anything done. If not, then go elsewhere. I would be professionally embarrassed if I worked here.
