I remember always enjoying this location, but my experience today was appalling.
I do not understand the organization at all, most notably in the women’s textiles. You have to go to multiple isles to look for the same thing, areas are not clearly labeled, and sizes are all over the place! For how big the store is, they’re really missing the mark on utilizing the space efficiently and effectively. Such a waste.
This could be a training issue, or overall bad management. You need strong leaders who will take pride in the shopability of the store, and training the associates to follow suit. There is a ton of missed opportunity. Spend less time making the “displays” pretty, and overhaul the entire layout!
Seems to be a lot of frustration from employees just dropping clothing on a rack that vaguely resembles what they have in their hands, or throwing something in the closest “empty” spot. I’m sure it’s just as bad on their morale to have such disorganization, I know there’s only so much they can do without clear direction or oversight from higher ups. It seems management isn’t on the floor that much, until they get called up to the registers and act disgruntled to help their associates. One even called backup for the checkout line, and then walked away. Could she not hop on a register and help herself? Strange.
The treasure hunting aspect is completely ruined by overfilled unorganized shelves, and literal garbage. Broken, and dirty items that are frankly overpriced for how much work customers will have to put in to clean them.
Recovery and cycling of fresh product seems to be a huge problem as well. Where most shelves are so full, there’s stuff falling on the floor— other areas are bare. No signage on books, detailing which categories they were in… digging through bins and overflowing bags on pegs, sorting past filth to see what might be hiding behind… it was exhausting!
I was completely overwhelmed and overstimulated the time I spent here. I do hope it will change in the future. But I can’t say that I’ll be back anytime soon. On a better note— most employees I talked to were very kind, and I was greeted multiple times on the floor.
This used to be such a good Goodwill, but it's really falling off. The racks are absolutely crammed and impossible to shop in. Each section has crazy disorganization. Over the years, it's become increasingly difficult to browse in. I want to go to my size in a clothing section, not have to dig through the entire row because the items are essentially randomized. Bras are no longer sorted by size at all! Or pajamas. Terrible. The jewelry counter is gone. And its place is random clothing racks whose organization I cannot determine. The dressing rooms are intermittently closed. And the bathroom too. What used to be a delightful adventure and treasure hunt has become an exhausting slog that I leave early from. The jewelry in the bags sucks, very tedious. And all the good jewelry is being put online. I used to come here frequently and spend hours in the store. Now I come infrequently and skip whole areas of the store.
And to be clear, I don't blame any local staff. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and pleasant. There seems to be a lack of staff and it's hard to find workers in store when I have a question. It feels like corporate is purposefully understaffing the store to prevent the proper attention to store recovery that would be required to make this store enjoyable to shop in again. I've worked retail before. A disorganized store is a result of understaffing. Usually at closing shifts. Customers do put things back in the wrong spot but not to the degree that would result in the comprehensive disorganization across all clothing sections. Something needs to change. This is embarrassing!

It's not fair that when it's Monday and the day of color some employees inside the store leave all the carts ready so that people only give train and take the cart full with the color that is on sale is a may fair for the other customers the store should take action on the matter
Most inefficient donation center in history. If you go here to donate something, be prepared to wait in line for an hour

Lots of good stuff here from clothes to housewares to electronics and also medical supplies (crutches, canes, boots, etc). Gotta try and remember to come here next time I’m in need instead of paying top dollar at a medical supply store.
