- DDdanDec 12, 20255.0I had to have a blow and go in my vehicle for 4 months, so 17 months ago. I had Intoxalock install there antiquated device in my vehicle on 5/8/2024 on 5/17/2024 I turned on my vehicle to start it and it said I had a violation and had to go back to car toys with in 5 days or I would be locked out. I called intoxalock and the person who answered the phone bearly spoke English and she was screaming at her little rag head kids, so she told me to pay the 80 to intoxalock and after I paid car toys 45 dallers to reset there device, she would refund the 80 dollars. Well that went on for 14 months. And 13 lockouts at 80 plus 45, so yea I paid 1625 in just lock outs. Plus all the other charges. My battery had to be replaced twice and my alternator once. Also I'm on food stamps so the Dshs was to most of the normal charges, which left me paying 70 to 90 a month. So because if the lock out I never had 4 months of good time. So I did some research and found that there is a pink wire that goes to the tachomarer so there device know the difference between the key be on acc and the car running, and in the instructions they gave car toys had it redacted [a line ran through that part. So what was happening was when me key was in the acc position and I was not in the vehicle it would ask me to blow, also when I took my car to car toys the horn worked, but when I picked it up it didn't work, otherwise it would have let me know it was asking me to blow when I was not in the vehicle. When there device asks you to blow it takes video. But they told me to get a attorney.. there is so much more but ok so I found lifesafer and even better I took my vehicle to there Shelton location, and there where no lockouts, no problems it took fourth months, and the people at this shop were fantastic, also I found out that intoxalock was charging the state and me. So yea more fraudulent. If you use lifesafer GO TO SHELTON STORE.

I have come across a couple minor issues and they refused to work with me on anything and just extended my time, but the shop that I had the device installed and have it calibrated each month is amazing. Vander Wal's Garage at 321 S 2nd st right downtown Shelton is great about getting me in and out of there as quickly as possible. Sabrina, who does all of the LifeSafer mumbo jumbo, is a gem. She's always extremely polite and courteous, always loving and my puppy Louie, every time we walk through the door. If I were ever asked about an ignition interlock setup I would highly recommend them.
