Outside the building there is a large open courtyard with a fountain that attracts lunch crowds. You can find food nearby from some of Seattle's localy owned restaurants or pick up something from a street vendor. Close to the Westlake Center is Nordstrom's and Nordstrom Rack. A block away is the monorail station that takes passengers to the Seattle Center.

Indian consulate Mr.Gupta and Mayor of Seattle city presided over the function. Different states of India showcased their respective cultural events. Different states also arranged stalls containing their art and craft. It was first time such function was organised in Seattle. Zeal and enthusiasm of Indian diaspora was worth seeing in away country.
