I went in around 7 PM already intending to purchase a fragrance and was deciding between the eau de toilette and the parfum. I mentioned that perfume can sometimes irritate my skin, which is why I chose to spray it on my clothes instead of directly on my skin. Instead of responding professionally, the sales associate told me he “couldn’t trust me with the perfume” and then directly called me a “What a Child”. The entire interaction felt condescending and inappropriate. Fragrance sensitivity is common, and choosing to test on clothing first is completely reasonable. On top of that, I was pressured to open a Nordstrom credit card even though the store wasn’t busy and I was already planning to make a purchase. The experience felt more like an aggressive sales tactic than the kind of thoughtful service you would expect. I should have gone to the Bellevue Square location instead. I would never return to this location.

The shoeshine department was closed despite the store being open, so the men’s shoes team took my shoes and told me they would handle them the next day. Unfortunately, shoe shine did not return the following day as promised. When I called to ask about the status, I was told that the shoe shine department is still closed and the return date was unknown. I immediately regretted leaving my shoes in a place that felt disorganized and chaotic. The service experience phone line was either abrupt or uninterested, and the manager in charge was not answering the phone. With my schedule, I do not have time to return before the weekend, and I was genuinely worried my shoes might be lost. Overall, this location has become noticeably disorganized, and I hope Nordstrom addresses these issues soon.
