I'm leaving my previous review from 9 years ago up showing how much I appreciated them in the past. I do enjoy promoting those businesses who do a great job and who treat me well. Something has changed over the years. Now, they've gone totally online with a minimum of $30 order. I made a small order to pick up heading north to Bellingham to flesh out my stock. After I submitted my order but before they could fill it, I remembered that I was about out of red. I tried calling but they had closed, then tried amending the order online but I'd have to buy $30 or more for 2 bags. Yes, a little petty on my part, but after so many years doing all of my balloon orders through them and sending so many people to them, Tyler (the owner) couldn't be bothered to grab two bags of red to add to my order while I was standing in his warehouse office. I had the cash or card to pay for them, but he chose to hard business over customer service. This is the result of that decision.
Perhaps if you don't care about personalized service, or do so much business that such service isn't important, MSR will be fine. But if you expect personalized service, or respect for customer loyalty, I don't recommend this business.
These folks are awesome! I'm an experienced (37 yrs) twister. They have will-call service (call it in and then pick it up) as well as shipping at prices that are hard to beat. And, they do enough business that they have great turnover in product. If you go to pick up your order, ask for a chocolate... :-)
