  Shopping experience is fine. Donation experience is almost always terrible. At this point I probably just prefer taking stuff to the dump.

  My friends and I love shopping at the Renton Goodwill because of the great selection and cleanliness of the store. However, we had an unpleasant experience during our recent visit. One of my friends found a gown she really likes but the zipper was broken. When she asked an employee named Loidalyn if discount could be given due to damage she was rude and dismissive. She said, “ No extra discount because you are already senior”. ( It was senior day). Emphasizing the senior in an unkind way. It also appeared that she might be a supervisor as she was directing other employees - but her tone was loud and disrespectful. I hope the management can address this matter and provide her with guidance and training on professionalism and customer service. Her behavior was disappointing and not reflective of otherwise environment at the store. By the way the employee named Adam is 100% star. He helped us and always in good behavior, very accommodating and polite. Looking forward for him to become a manager.

  Be aware when cashier is scanning , indian cashier guy scanned extra 5 items. I called him out on it and the difference was about $20.

  I took a picture of a stereo I was interested in before buying it only for the CD player to be broken. I was then accused of scamming the store when trying to return it. There was another sticker underneath the stereo that I wasn’t aware of and they immediately assumed I put it there. As a long time retail worker, I understand how putting a false price over the correct price point can be frustrating and a serious problem, but selling it to the unknowing buyer is also a problem, especially when you have an attitude towards them. Having my receipt and the picture of the stereo on the shelf with a time stamp was what protected me from those false claims. I was told they would “let it slide but next time there will be repercussions.” I will be using my store credit at a different location. Highlands Goodwill, It’s time to invest in cameras. Yesterday was a defamation of my character. How embarrassing for a store to treat customers this way.
