Born in Detroit, and relocating from Seattle, Carhartt is proud to join Seattle’s inner-ring suburb of Renton which is located at the mouth of Cedar River. Along with a long history of salmon fishing, Renton’s early economy was based on coal mining, clay production, and timber export. Today, Renton is best known as the final assembly point for the Boeing 737 family of commercial airplanes, but it is also home to a growing number of well-known manufacturing, technology, and healthcare organizations. We are proud to call this community our home as we serve and protect hardworking people with rugged and comfortable gear they can count on 24/7.

As I was browsing, Sky came up to offer help. Long story short, I found out I had an old design of women's pants. Sky helped me find alternatives in both men's and women's styles and I left with a really nicely fitting pair of pants and a tote bag. I did not walk in with any intention of spending money. I just wanted to see what a Carhartt store was like. Sky is awesome. Now that I am a Seattle resident, I found where I'll be buying all of my Carhartt 💪

I found everything I needed on the clearance rack, and the two employees, Marcosa and Sky (or Ski), were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely fun to talk to. Even though they were busy, they made time to assist me—helping me get into the changing room, keeping a running total of my items, and making sure I stayed as close as possible to my $350 budget without going over. They kept the mood light, cracked a few jokes, and made the whole shopping trip enjoyable. My final total came in just under $350, and thanks to all the clearance deals, I saved an impressive $560.08! They were sincerely excited for me when they saw how much I’d saved, which made the experience even better. Carhartt is lucky to have such great employees. I’ll definitely be coming back!
