- KCk ConradsDec 28, 20251.0I received a coat for Christmas. It was a $100 coat. It was the wrong size. They didn't have a larger size. I brought the receipt with me. The gal who did the transaction credited the card that was charged. I'm like, I wanted the cash or a gift card so I could find a different coat. She said, " Well, I already hit the button, and there's nothing I can do. I talked to the manager, who is very nice, but she couldn't do anything about it. I told her it's the day after Christmas, why wasn't she trained to ask what the customer would prefer, cash or a gift card? Her response was I'm sorry, I'll talk to her. I had to contact the person who gave me the coat and let them know they would receive a credit on the credit card, and I wasn't going to ask for another gift. Shame on JCPenney's we will never shop there again. This is why so many businesses go out of business. No customer service.
