She redid the whole thing 3 times because she tries to put me on jc penny credit card. Anyways to make the long story short I end up just paying the the sale price and tax without the $35 discount when you get approved for their card. She said okay everything is good but the receipt doesn't show she applied the $35. I left the store without making a comment, it's embarrassing for her age that she works there and can't do simple math. So I'll just leave it here.
