Paid for a pair of Birkenstock Boston Clogs to be delivered to this location as the sales person told me they would arrive faster at the store than my house. These were a birthday present for my son. The sales person said I would get an email when they arrive. I waited 1 week without receiving an email so went to pick them up 7 days after I paid for them thinking they would be there. The guy scanned my receipt and said "I'm sorry, these were returned yesterday." No explanation why, no email and no solution presented. My son's bday is tomorrow, this is why I made a special trip to pick up his present today after patiently waiting 6 days for an email. It's so disappointing I will not shop here again. There are 3 failures: 1) no email when the sales person said I would get one. 2) returned the item without any notification 3) no attempt to make this situation right...the guy could have at least offered to locate another pair for me. This is not the Nordstrom customer service I expected. An "I'm sorry, this was returned" doesn't solve anything. What happened to making the customer happy, forget happy, making the situation right?
