Personable, Knowledgeable and Professional
A trip to Bellevue Rare Coins today proved to be a surprising windfall. Chandler helped both my friend and I. We had a combination of coins, flatware, jewelry and table ware.
We scheduled an appointment online for 1pm. They do take walk ins but today was very busy and the wait was 60-90 minutes. I would highly recommend this business and specifically Chandler. Even though they were very busy he didn’t rush. We both left with an itemized list of what he purchased and a nice little check!

I had an excellent experience at Bellevue Rare Coins in Tacoma. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Andrew took the time to carefully evaluate my items and explained everything as he worked through the process.
I appreciated how honest and transparent Andrew was. There was no pressure at all, just helpful information and fair pricing. It is obvious Bellevue Rare Coins in Tacoma value integrity and customer trust, which is hard to find these days.
If you’re looking for a reputable place to buy, sell, or have coins or precious metals evaluated, I highly recommend Bellevue Rare Coins. I will definitely return and will not hesitate to refer friends and family.

I visited it the store for the first time yesterday. Nice store and great staff. They were busy so it's best to schedule an appointment online . They have a large selection of gold and silver bars and coins. They also carry some jewelry
Joe was the Gentleman that helped me . He was very knowledgeable and honest. I was very happy with my transaction.
The only thing I did not like about my experience is the smell of cigarettes that was coming from the back area. Other than that it was all good.

I can’t speak for everyone since everyone experiences things differently. But I felt it went great. If you’re not a patient person, then I can’t say whether you’d have a great serviced experience. If you’re going in with coins, it’s best to make a list of what you have to make the process go smoothly. Ask for a cheat sheet or listing of their coin standards. They actually offered before I asked. Such a friendly staff. Trying to find parking sucks if you’re not lucky. Overall, the staff was pleasant. The associate I was helped by is named Trina. Thank you, Trina, for your patience with me. Much appreciated.

My wife and I visited the Lynnwood store today, about 4 hours ago. We live up north in the San Juan Islands, but we were in that area for my wife to get an MRI, she just had a brain tumor removed on Christmas Eve day and this was a follow-up. Because of this she's not working, I can only work part-time because I don't have any help taking care of her, so we don't have a lot of $ coming in right now and these trips are expensive. I had this scrap jewelry, not all scrap, some of it is nice, anyway gold and silver. I had a decent amount of silver, 5oz or so, and 8 grams of gold, most of it 10k, but about a quarter of it was 14k and the heaviest item was an old ring that I had checked out before, and they were going to buy it as 18k. But I was told that all of the gold with marks said 10k, so I'm just gonna assume the rest is too, he threw it on the scale with the other gold and only paid me for 10k!!! Now does that sound like "HONESTY, INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY"??
This person has to realize that finding markings on small pieces of gold is "Not real tough"!! Also, some of us might have a digital microscope that captures undeniable proof of what I'm saying!!!
I knew this was happening, and I could have taken my items and left, But the moment this person looked me in the eyes and said "it's all 10k", I just couldn't leave! I had to see how far it would go!! Well, it went all the way!!! This person who has no clue how dumb or smart I was, topped the whole thing off by telling me It came out to $687, but "they would make it $700", then handed me a check for $680????,,, $680 "what"? Best part, No Explanation!!
"I almost fell over"!
TRUST ME when I tell you ," You can't trust them!
What I didn't get;
Explain-NO
Examine-NO
ASSESS-NO
Offer-yeah, not an honest one.
My point is, I've never met this person, so what could I have done to deserve being treated in this manner? It's not the first time they've done it, that's for sure. But it was worth loosing out on a couple hundred dollars just to see this all unfold!!!
