    Absolutely terrible experience at the Cabela’s in Lacey, Washington. The level of customer service at this store is shocking. Multiple employees were rude and dismissive when I asked for help, and when I tried to address the issue with the general manager, he was just as rude—if not worse. Instead of taking the concern seriously, the attitude I received made it clear that customer service isn’t a priority at this location at all. It honestly felt like customers were an inconvenience to the staff. This is by far the worst Cabela’s I’ve ever been to, and after this experience I won’t be coming back. I’ll also be letting others know to avoid this location if they expect basic respect or professionalism.

    Extremely unprofessional experience at the Cabela’s in Lacey, Washington. I came into the store expecting a normal customer experience, but instead I was helped by the general manager, John Riggs, who smelled strongly of alcohol while assisting me. That is completely unacceptable for someone in a management position, especially at a store that sells firearms and requires customers to go through legal paperwork and background checks. The entire interaction made me uncomfortable and seriously questioned the professionalism and oversight at this location. Customers should not have to deal with management who appear to be under the influence while on duty. I hope Bass Pro Shops / Cabela’s corporate leadership looks into this situation because it reflects very poorly on the store and the company as a whole. I expected much better from a national retailer.

    So lately I have been going there and they don't seam to have what I need seams like there stuff is limited what's up with that?? You guys youst to have it before others I'm disappointed

    As a first time gun owner I decided on a Springfield Armory Hellcat OSP Semi-Auto Pistol. I ordered online through Cabelas in Lacey WA. Worst customer service. Notified by email my gun was ready for pick up. I arrive at the store. Go to the gun area and waited to try to catch someone's attention. No one acknowledged me. Finally catch an old gentleman's attention ask if this is where I pick up an order. He states check in at kiosk and waves me off. I said it's asking for info I don’t have (Log-in ID). Nothing on my email states I have a log-in. He said I don’t know about all that. What? You work here. ?? He goes back to another customer. An off duty employee looks at it and says oh, sorry about that I can log it back on. He does and I check in. Super nice guy. The older man seems really out of place and rude. An hour and a half later my name is called and I am shown my gun by a very uninterested, bothered employee. He looks at me and says- ok with it? I explained I'm first time gun owner so I really have no reference, I just scheduled my class, so I'll be more familiar after that. Dead stare. Slight knod. Wow. Ok. Sorry I'm bothering you but let's move on. Fill out this info on iPad. Do a background check and we will let you know when it's back. Got a call firearm ready for pick up. 5-7 days later I go to pick up. Check in at kiosk, wait 90 minutes, guy comes out with gun, "your 10 days past due so we can resubmit your paperwork or refund" I'm 10 days past due? I was notified 5 days ago. Refund me. I'm so unhappy with a hour plus wait every time I come in here and the lack of customer service at this point it's a God send. I'll purchase my firearm from the gun store where I take my class. Cabelas is clearly not interested in dealing with beginners. If you don’t know the ropes they're not helpful and made me feel out of place. And the hour or more wait every time you walk in is crazy.
